About us
The ASSET lab is a translational chemistry hub based on the Institute of Electrochemistry at the University of Alicante (Spain). Our team endeavors to truly impact the fields of sustainable chemistry and energy conversion and our aim is to accelerate the implementation of renewable technologies in the market.
Our Research Strategy builds on an interdisciplinary effort where the synthesis and engineering of novel materials combines with the in-depth characterization of the catalytic phenomena or photogenerated carrier dynamics as a guide to optimize the systems and finally deliver proof-of-concept devices.
